These scholarships are open to high school seniors, undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, and professional certificate students studying STEM fields to include cyber and intelligence.
COL Bill Haney, USA (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in recognition of Leadership Excellence - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate a significant level of leadership either through their school, extracurricular or outside activities.
CAPT Jim Hickerson, USN (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in recognition of Character Excellence - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate a high level of character in their daily activities.
Mel Ing Memorial Scholarship - $5,000
- Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a hard sciences program and be an AFCEA Hawaii Chapter member or relation of an AFCEA Hawaii Chapter member.
ADM Richard Macke, USN (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in Recognition of Hard Science Technical Excellence - $7,500
- Applicants must demonstrate practical application and technical excellence in a hard science - Mathematics, Engineering, Computers/Networks, Physics, Chemistry or Biology.
MG Eugene Renzi USA (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in Recognition of Professional Excellence - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate a high level of professionalism in their day-to-day interactions at school, extracurricular activities or outside organizations.
LTG Thomas Rienzi, USA (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in Recognition of Communications Excellence - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate practical application of communications related to technology.
Donna Russell Women in Engineering Scholarship - $7,500
- Female applicants must demonstrate practical application and technical excellence in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
MG Rockly Triantafellu, UASF (Ret) Memorial Scholarship in recognition of Technical Excellence - $5000
- Applicants must demonstrate high level of hands-on technical excellence in Computers, Electrical Engineering or other technical areas of study.
Bob Ventura Cyber Security and Intelligence Memorial Scholarship - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate practical application and technical excellence in Cybersecurity or Intelligence.
CAPT Ken Wiecking, USN (Ret) Scholarship in recognition of Volunteerism Excellence - $5,000
- Applicants must demonstrate a continued and dedicated commitment to volunteering throughout their high school years.
The following scholarship is open to students who are enrolling in a 2-year program:
University of Hawaiʻi Community Colleges Scholarship - $5,000
- Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a Computing, Electronics, Security or Networking Technology program at a University of Hawaiʻi Community College.
