The Joshua L. Anderson Memorial Foundation was created in 1992 to award scholarships to deserving student athlete graduates from high schools in Northern Nevada.
Good, hardworking, ambitious student athletes having participated in a high school baseball or softball program are encouraged to apply. Scholarships are based upon the applicant’s financial need, academic performance, extracurricular activities, participation in a high school baseball or softball program and a strong desire to earn a college education.
Since inception 27 years ago, the Foundation has awarded three hundred and nine scholarships. The Foundation expects to award 10-12 additional scholarships in 2020.
Recipients will receive their $3,500 scholarship at the start of their freshman year of college.
