Hawai’i Pacific University Scholarship
Deadline: December 12, 2018
Amount: $8,000

The faculty, staff, students, and overall university community of Hawai‘i Pacific embrace the following values as representative of the spiritual, ethical, and philosophical principles that support our community, as well as of the aspirational ideals to which we collectively aspire.

Josh and Souk Jerman Foundation

The Josh Jerman Foundation was established to provide assistance to deserving charities and nonprofit organizations throughout Maui County. The Foundation has contributed to a number of organizations, including Project S.E.A.-Link, Maui Arts & Cultural Center, Family Life Church, Maui AIDS Foundation, Whale Trust, Nature Conservancy of Hawai‘i, Women Helping Women of Maui County and Haleakalä Waldorf School.

Cottey Hawai’i Scholarship

The HAWAI’I P.E.O. Chapters are stewards of the Hawai’i Cottey College Scholarship Fund.  Our goal is to provide a source of financial support for a Hawai’i student to attend Cottey College.

Hawai’i Tokai College
Deadline: December 20, 2018
Amount: $2,125

HTIC offers reduced tuition for the first term of study for students with U.S. citizenship or U.S. legal permanent resident status who are applying to the Associate in Arts (Liberal Arts) degree program. This makes HTIC one of the most affordable private colleges in the Pacific region. Overall expenses remain competitive even with most public colleges. The Gateway Scholarship is awarded to a limited number of qualified U.S. citizens or U.S. legal permanent residents based on outstanding academic achievement. Only full-time students are eligible to apply for scholarships.

The Children’s Healthy Living Dietetics Scholarship

Amount: $14,000

The Children’s Healthy Living Dietetics Scholarship Program (CHLD) provides funding for Native Hawaiian students passionate in nutrition and health to complete a Bachelors of Science Dietetics degree at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. CHLD focuses on student learning, social support structure, academic preparation, service learning, cultural immersion, research, leadership development and professional mentoring. All CHLD scholars meeting entry requirements are guaranteed admittance in the UHM community-based Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway (ISPP), the only accredited Supervised Practice in Hawai‘i, after graduating with their BS.

Brian Kajiyama Heart of a Warrior Scholarship

The Brian Kajiyama Heart of a Warrior Scholarship is    intended to aid Hawai’i high school students who have  triumphed over personal challenges to excel in the classroom, in extracurricular activities, and in their community. Scholarship recipients will be selected from students committed to attending the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. The scholarship funds will be used to assist the winner(s) tuition at the University of Hawai’i’s Mānoa campus.

Live Your Dream Awards (formerly known as the Women’s Opportunity Awards) to provide women who are the heads of their households with the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.

Burger King Scholar’s Program – Employee-Based Track Pursuing Enrichment Program
Deadline: December 15, 2018
Amount: $50,000

Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities and community service.

Employees must be active on Designated Employer’s payroll for at least 6 months as of the application deadline date and employed at the time awards are first announced.

James W. McLamore WHOPPER Scholarship

Amount: $50,000

Created in memory of BURGER KING® Co-founder James “Jim” W. McLamore, the BURGER KING℠ Scholars program has awarded $32 million in scholarships to more than 30,000 high school students, BK® employees and their families across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico since 2000. In 2017 alone, the Foundation awarded $3.5 million to more than 3,200 students in North America.

Scholarship grants range from $1,000 to $50,000 and are intended to help students offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected based on their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities and community service.

AXA Achievement Scholarship

The AXA Achievements Scholarship provides over $1.4 million in scholarships to young people throughout the nation representing all 50 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship.

Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr. Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders

Since 1982 USHLI has awarded over $1.3 million in scholarships and internships. Most notably, the Dr. Juan Andrade, Jr. – Scholarship for Young Hispanic Leaders seeks to recognize Hispanics students who embody USHLI’s mission.

APIASF Scholarship Program

The APIASF General Scholarship is open to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) high school and college students who will be enrolling or are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in the upcoming academic year. There are multiple scholarship opportunities that vary in award amount, number of years, field of study, location, and more. For high school seniors, current college students, and students with GED entering college in Fall 2018.

The Dream.US National Scholarships are for highly motivated DREAMers1 who want nothing more than to get a college education but are unable to afford the cost.

Hawai’i Rotary Youth Foundation Scholarship Program
Deadline: February 6, 2019
Amount: $10,000

The HRYF and Weinberg Scholarship programs are administered without raged to race, creed, colour, age, religion, sex, national origin or physical disability. Scholarships are non-transferable and are for one year. Funds are mailed directly to the school of choice and cannot be deferred for future use. No student can receive more than one scholarship from the Hawai’i Rotary Youth Foundation.

Each year Hawaii Self Storage (HSS) awards financial scholarships to eligible students to pursue and obtain a college degree. This program is designed to help and support students financially to develop into future leaders in our community.
