- 2023 - The Oregon Association of Public Accountants Scholarship This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled or accepted by an accredited school within the State of Oregon as full-time accounting students carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours. Full-time Oregon community college students, including Oregon residents attending any out-of-state community college, who will be transferring in the fall to an accredited Oregon university and plan to major in accounting, are eligible to apply for scholarships. Eligibility Oregon University Students * Full-time Oregon university undergraduate accounting majors, post baccalaureate and masters program students are eligible to apply for scholarships and must attend an accredited Oregon university in the fall. Community College Students * First-year Oregon community college students who are studying accounting and will be enrolling full-time in their second year at an Oregon community college, are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded based on student's academic performance, intent to pursue a Tax and/or CPA Accounting career and work within the state of Oregon. The minimum required GPA is 2.75 in accounting/business classes and an overall cumulative 2.75 GPA. Awards Scholarships are awarded in the Fall 2023 through Summer 2024 terms. - BBCC Workforce Education ScholarshipThis scholarship is for residents of the service district of Big Bend Community College who will enroll in a Workforce Education Program at BBCC. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits each quarter and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better at BBCC in their program of study. Applicants must enroll in one of the programs listed below to be eligible for this scholarship: Accounting, Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Aviation (Pilot), Aviation Maintenance Technology, Business Information Management, Commercial Driver's License, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, Manufacturing & Processing Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Office & Billing Support Services, Nursing, Welding, Medical Records & Healthcare Information, Aviation Maintenance Powerplant, Industrial Mechanical, UAS Drone, or Simulation Technology.
- National Association of Professional Mortgage Women ScholarshipThis full-time scholarship is available to both male and female students who are pursuing an education in business - preferably the mortgage/banking industry which includes Business Transfer, Accounting Technician, or Business Information Management.
- Rex & Bonnie Wilks ScholarshipThis full-time scholarship is available to an academic track student majoring in Accounting at BBCC. The scholarship is to be awarded in the 2nd quarter of the student’s sophomore year, providing that the student matriculates and maintains a 3.5 GPA.
