  • Barry Kirkwood Scholarship
    This full-time scholarship is open to potential and current BBCC students. Preference will be given to student majoring in agriculture or a related program of study.
  • BBCC Workforce Education Scholarship
    This scholarship is for residents of the service district of Big Bend Community College who will enroll in a Workforce Education Program at BBCC. Students must complete a minimum of 12 credits each quarter and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or better at BBCC in their program of study. Applicants must enroll in one of the programs listed below to be eligible for this scholarship: Accounting, Agriculture, Automotive Technology, Aviation (Pilot), Aviation Maintenance Technology, Business Information Management, Commercial Driver's License, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, Manufacturing & Processing Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Office & Billing Support Services, Nursing, Welding, Medical Records & Healthcare Information, Aviation Maintenance Powerplant, Industrial Mechanical, UAS Drone, or Simulation Technology.

    Provides scholarships for students in animal science.
  • Bob Evans Farms Animal Welfare Scholarship
    Provides a scholarship to a student studying swine welfare/animal welfare.
  • Bob Gano Scholarship Endowment Fund
    Income supports sophomore, junior, or senior animal science students specializing in dairy science. First preference given to Tuscarwaras County students, or second preference to student employees of Ohio State Dairy Facility with desire to return to production agriculture.
  • Bob Rodabaugh Agricultural Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for student enrolled in agriculture from Madison or contiguous counties.
  • Buckeye Polled Hereford Association Scholarship Fund
    Provides a scholarship for a senior or junior in animal science based on merit, interest in beef cattle production, student activities and financial need.
  • CACC Clara Miner-Fuller Scholarship
    This fund was established by Clara Miner-Fuller as a memorial tribute to her deceased husbands, Charles Miner and George Fuller. Clara passed away on December 1, 1990. This scholarship is awarded to CACC graduates pursuing studies in a technical field with preference given to Agriscience and Natural Resources (e.g.: Food Science and Technology Program) or related programs. Applicants must provide documentation of academic performance, financial need and citizenship."

    Three $3000 scholarships are awarded each year to graduating seniors from the **Calaveras County** high schools who have **horticulture or environmentally related** education goals.

    Provides scholarships for students from Ohio and adjoining states, with preference to students from Ohio and West Virginia who have been admitted to their freshman year in the study of animal science.

  • CHS Foundation University Scholarship
    Provides scholarships to students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year working towards an agricultural-related degree to pursue a career in agribusiness or production agriculture.
  • Consolidated Grain and Barge AEDE Scholarship
    Supports undergraduate students majoring in agribusiness with preference given to those with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • D. J. Kays Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Income provides scholarships for undergraduate animal science majors who have completed at least two semesters in the college.

    Income provides scholarships divided equally between the floriculture (Department of Horticulture and Crop Science) and the Department of Entomology.

    This scholarship is open to high school seniors in the Frederick County School System, Virginia who plan to enroll full-time at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Agricultural Education or the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

    Provides scholarships to undergraduate students who are majoring in Agricultural Education.
  • Earl and Wilma McMunn Scholarship
    Income provides scholarships for undergraduates in animal science specializing in dairy science.
  • E. Ivor Jones Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Provides support for an undergraduate or graduate student with at least a 3.0 GPA enrolled in the department and engaged in the study and/or research of agricultural education.
  • FAES Alumni Society Undergraduate Scholarship Endowment
    Supports one or more undergraduate students enrolled in agriculture and natural resources who demonstrate leadership abilities in positions of authority in student clubs and activities across the College, including departmental or school clubs and activities. While financial need may be a consideration, significant emphasis will be placed on leadership contributions the students have made in their clubs or activities in terms of encouraging participation of other students, organization and implementation of the club's events and activities, and effectiveness as a leader within the group and across the College.

    This full-time scholarship is available to students in their first year at BBCC majoring in Education or Agriculture. Applicants must meet financial eligibility as determined by the Financial Aid Office.

    This scholarship, established in memory of Jerome S. Main, provides financial assistance to a student planning to pursue a career in agriculture.

    This fund supports students in agricultural communication.
  • John Michael Shinn Memorial Scholarship
    This full-time scholarship is available to a 2nd year BBCC student majoring in Agriculture and/or the sciences (hard sciences - not social sciences). Student must show promise of developing into a creative thinker and experimenter.
  • John Paul Benua Memorial Fund
    Provides scholarships to junior or senior students in the College with interest in production agriculture or agribusiness with a 2.8 GPA.
  • John Scott and Della Errington Memorial Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for Tuscarawas County students in animal science in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences and Human Ecology. Two-thirds of the income is for students in the Department of Animal Science. One-third is for students in the Department of Human Nutrition and Food Management.

    Provides scholarships for agribusiness majors who have demonstrated academic ability and financial need.
  • Kyle Althauser Memorial Scholarship
    Provides scholarships to Hardin County students entering studies in agriculture and natural resources. May be renewable for the sophomore year.
  • Lawrence A. Kauffman Memorial Fund
    Income is used for animal science undergraduate scholarships.
  • Leo L. Rummell Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Provides a scholarship for a student in the college who has a major in agricultural communication and has completed an internship in ag communication.
  • L. P. McCann Memorial Scholarship Award
    Provides a scholarship for sophomores studying animal science with intended careers in research, education, farming, ranching or other business or industry associated with beef cattle.
  • Lucas J. Regula Memorial Scholarship
    Provides scholarships to students enrolled in the College who are active members of the livestock judging team and/or majoring in animal sciences on the Columbus campus.
  • Lucile and Roland Kennedy Scholarship Fund
    Provides undergraduate scholarships or fellowships and associateships for graduate students in dairy science.
  • Marlowe and Oscar F. Axene Merit Scholarship in Agriculture
    Provides a scholarship, including tuition, fees, books and supplies, for an outstanding freshman enrolled in the College.
  • Mary Jane Dovenbarger Scholarship Fund
    Provides a scholarship for an academically able and needy Ashland County undergraduate majoring in agriculture, human ecology or natural resources, with an interest in the 4-H program or other Cooperative Extension work as a career. If no student qualifies, it may be awarded to a graduate student from Ashland County preparing for a career in Extension.
  • Michal Michiels Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to a graduating senior from Appleton East or Appleton West, or student who has been homeschooled and resides within the AASD boundary and plans to pursue a degree related to improving the environment, animal habitat, and/or animal management.
  • Mid-States Meat Association Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarship support for students in animal science.
  • Minges Family Scholarship
    Frances Minges Delmerico Issac implemented this scholarship in recognition of the 150+ years the family has resided and was active in the Lakeview area. Applicants must be current residents of Lakeview School District graduating from Lakeview High School and who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university or a two-year community college. Applicants must have financial need and submit two letters of recommendation, one from a faculty member, and the other from someone outside of the school setting. Considerations are: Demonstrated a potential for success: letters of recommendation, application and essay responses, and grades. Special consideration will be given to candidates with dyslexia or autism, despite their GPA. Preference may be given to students intending to study music, art, or agriculture. Former recipients may reapply throughout their undergraduate degree, and are required to submit two letters of recommendation.

    Provides a scholarship to Pickaway County students who are interested in majoring in agriculture.

    Income supports students in poultry science in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

    Supports an undergraduate student in agricultural education with strong academic achievement, leadership skills, and interest in agribusiness sales/management.
  • OABA Ag Systems Management Scholarship
    Supports sophomore, junior, or senior students in Ag Systems Management.
  • Ohio Agribusiness Assn.-Animal Science Scholarship
    Annual gift provides support to an undergraduate student in animal science with strong academic achievement, leadership skill, and interest in agribusiness sales/management.
  • Ohio Agribusiness Assn-Dairy Science Scholarship
    Annual gift provides support to an undergraduate student in dairy science with strong academic achievement, leadership skill, and interest in agribusiness sales/management.
  • Ohio Agribusiness Association Ag Communication Scholarship
    Supports sophomore, junior, or senior students in agricultural communication.
  • Ohio Expositions Commissioners Scholarship Endowment Fund
    Provides at least one scholarship to a Junior Fair exhibitor at the Ohio State Fair. Recipients must be entering The Ohio State University Columbus campus, ATI or any of its regional campuses and majoring in Animal Sciences. In the event that there are no qualified students majoring in Animal Sciences, applicants enrolled in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences who meet the other criteria may be considered for the scholarship.

    Supports undergraduate students in agricultural education with interest in youth development programs.

    Provides scholarships for students studying a farming or other agriculture-related discipline.
  • Paul H. Rofkar Scholarship Endowment
    Income provides merit scholarships for food, agricultural and biological engineering students with at least a 3.5 GPA, demonstrated leadership, and career interests in agricultural engineering.
  • Professorship in Plant Protection
    Income provides salary and program support for the work of a distinguished scholar and researcher in the field of plant protection. Scholarships for undergraduate students are available for high academic achievement.
  • Ralph "Dutch" E. Schramm Scholarship Fund
    Income supports junior/senior students in animal science who are (1) members of ATZ fraternity with beef or sheep interests, (2) students studying abroad or completing an international internship in Australia with the beef industry preferred, and (3) students who have participated in the Little "I" in the beef division.

    Provides awards to animal science students with preference to those enrolled in or planning to enroll in a program related to sheep or other ruminant animals.

    Income provides a scholarship for a student best exemplifying academic excellence and potential contribution to agriculture; with first preference to a junior and then a sophomore member of Beta Chapter, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, who is enrolled in a four-year curriculum in agriculture.

    Income provides scholarships for animal science majors in the college specializing in meat science.
  • Richard Evans Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for students majoring in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics and /or Animal Sciences. First preference should be given to a student from Champaign County. Second preference should be given to a student from a contiguous county.
  • Richard H. Kellogg Honors Scholarship Fund
    Provides honors undergraduate scholarships for animal science and dairy science majors.
  • Richard L. Bere Agricultural Economics Scholarship Fun
    Supports undergraduate students in agricultural economics who demonstrate both academic promise and financial need.

    Income provides scholarships or awards for undergraduate or graduate students in poultry science.

    Income is used according to the same regulations as prescribed for the Ohio Poultry Research Fund or for poultry scholarships or fellowship funds.

    Income provides a scholarship for the outstanding senior student in dairy science.

    Scholarship is awarded to an animal science senior especially interested in the field of sheep production and whose academic record for the first three years of college and whose personal qualifications identify such student as one who is worthy of this award.

    Provides scholarships for undergraduate agriculture or natural resources students preferably from Vinton County and other southeastern Ohio residents.
  • Shirley Brooks-Jones & Ronald Jones Study Abroad Fund
    Supports undergraduate students in agriculture and natural resources studying abroad for academic credit.
  • Stephen Brock Memorial Scholarship
    Provides scholarships for juniors or seniors majoring in agribusiness and applied economics or agricultural education, with preference to the Delta Theta Sigma fraternity members. Available in alternating years.
  • Ted A. Berry Scholarship
    Provides scholarship for a high school senior living within the city limits of Grove City and entering a field of agricultural bioscience such as Pre-Veterinary Sciences, Animal and Plant Sciences, Natural Resources, Biological Sciences or Agribusiness and Applied Economics.
  • TELACU Scholarship Program
    This scholarship award undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Business or STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
  • The Birkenholz Leadership Award Fund
    Provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student of senior standing majoring in agricultural education with first preference given to a student in the leadership option and second preference given to a student in the teaching option.
  • The Kuhl Stubbs Endowed Fund
    Provides scholarships to students who are members of an organization recognized by the University whose mission seeks to increase the number of females in agricultural fields. First preference given to candidates whose major is in the Department of Agricultural Communications, Education and Leadership.
  • The L.H. and Beverly Newcomb Alpha Zeta Partners Study Abroad Fund
    The annual income from this fund shall be used to support at least one scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in Agricultural and Extension Education who is a meber of Alpha Zeta Partners and who is participating in the Alpha Zeta Partners study abroad program.
  • The Sue and Walt Bailey Endowed Scholarship
    Supports at least two scholarships of equal amounts to be awarded annually to an undergraduate student majoring in Food Science and Nutrition and to an undergraduate student majoring in Agricultural Education. Preference shall be given to students from Ross County, Ohio, then those from Ohio, then Arizona, then California. Preference shall be given to students who do not receive federal student aid grants. Qualified applicants will have demonstrated academic achievement and involvement in student organizations.
  • The Von Price Scholarship Endowment
    Income provides one or more scholarships to students in the college who have selected animal science as their major subject of study. First preference should be given to students who are on the OSU Intercollegiate Livestock Judging Team. The selected students must demonstrate academic ability and a need for financial assistance.
  • Thomas M. Ludwick Scholarship Fund
    Income is used to support one or more scholarship awards for outstanding dairy science students each year.

    Provides a nonrestrictive scholarship for an undergraduate in agriculture in the College.
  • Victor Kendall Loan Fund
    Loans for needy students with majors in natural resources, crop science, plant health management, and agricultural systems management with interest in conservation. Application to and processing by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
  • Washington State Potato Commission
    This scholarship is available to Gig Bend academic-track students in Agriculture.
  • Wayne and Jane Dalton Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for dairy science students with stated intentions to pursue farm-related careers.
  • W. B. and T. T. Stout Agricultural Economics Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for agribusiness majors who have demonstrated above-average academic performance and/or need for financial assistance.
  • William J. Brakel Endowed Scholarship Fund
    Provides scholarships for outstanding dairy science students.
