This scholarship is to support students in the pursuit of careers in science. This year, we will award a total of $2,000 in scholarship(s) to **Maine high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education in a science related field.
The scholarship will be awarded to students in pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, pre-optometry, or pre-physical therapy in any college. The students should show scholarship and potential in their chosen fields, and they should be enrolled full-time and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.
This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Roger J. Sheridan, former coach at Saint Michael's High School in Montpelier, basketball and football official, and member and secretary of the International Association of Approved Basketball officials.
This scholarship is for first-year students of University of Southern Maine; Graduate of Gorham High School, enrolled in the College of Science, Technology and Health or the School of Education and Human Development.
This scholarship is for students who have completed at least one semester at USM as a major in Physics, Engineering, or Technology.
They must be hard working, dedicated, and gifted in the construction or design of equipment and/or the solution to problems in the classroom or laboratory.
This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in undergraduate programs leading to careers in a health care related field which include, but are not limited to the following:
Nursing, Laboratory, Radiology, Surgical Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, Therapy Services and Medical Records Coding/Transcription.
