  • ACLS Scholarship for Healthcare Providers
    This scholarship is for undergraduate or graduate college students currently enrolled in a “healthcare degree” program. This includes, but is not limited to, degree programs and courseware supporting the following professions: **Athletic Trainer, Cardiac Sonographer, Cardiovascular Technologist, Dental Assistant, Dentist, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Electrocardiographic Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Exercise Scientist/Specialist, Mammographer, Medical Assistant, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Nurse Anesthetists, Nurse Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Assistant, Paramedic, Pharmacist, Phlebotomist, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant, Physician, Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Respiratory Therapist**
  • Albert and Eloise Midyette Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate students attending **Limestone College** in Gaffney, South Carolina, pursuing degrees in the fields of **religious and ministry studies, nursing and other medical academic fields**.
  • Ambassador Animal Hospital Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine at NC State University.
  • AMN/Health Care Communicators Scholarship Essay Contest
    This scholarship is for high school seniors and college students currently enrolled in a San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles school district who plan to enter the field of health care upon graduation.
  • Anthony & Eric Vita Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to an **Allen High School** student who plans to pursue a career in the **medical field**.
  • A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited two-year or four-year college/university who are pursuing any STEM related degree such as Architecture, Mathematics, Medical Sciences, Physical Science, Technology, Nursing, Engineering, or Natural Resources.
  • Bright Salvageot Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship assists students in meeting educational expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at Western Piedmont Community College. Preference will be given to students enrolled in programs related to **science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare and education**.
  • Carol Jean Williams Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial support to a student enrolled in Western Piedmont Community College’s Medical Assisting degree (AAS) program or the Medical Assisting diploma program.
  • CGCS- Bernard Harris Scholarship Program
    The CGCS-Bernard Harris Scholarship Program was established to encourage **minority students** to pursue college degrees and careers in science, technology, engineering and math. Applicants must be students from urban school districts represented by the **Council of the Great City Schools**.The scholarship was created by former NASA astroanaut Dr. Bernard Harris, the first African-American to walk in space.
  • Elizabeth Hooper Jackson, M.D. Endowed Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship assists **Allied Health** curriculum students, **Substance Abuse Technology** students, and students majoring in **Biology or Chemistry** (college-transfer) in meeting expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at WPCC.
  • Fremont Health Auxiliary Scholarship
    This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who live in the **Methodist Fremont Health service area**, and who are pursuing a course of study in a **healthcare field**. Students who are the immediate relation (child, grandchild, niece or nephew or spouse of same) of individuals who serve on either the Fremont Health Foundation Board of Directors or the Methodist Fremont Health Board of Trustees are not eligible.
  • Fremont Health Foundation Impact Scholarship
    This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who live in the **Methodist Fremont Health service area**, and who are pursuing a course of study in a **healthcare field**.   • Harold Rudman Scholarship
    The Harold Rudman Scholarship is for students going into agriculture or health care field.
  • Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF) Scholarship
    The ultimate goal of this program is to fill Iowa health care positions that currently have a notable number of openings by offering significant financial support to students seeking health care education. In exchange for that financial support, each award recipient must commit to working one year in an Iowa hospital for each year of scholarship award.
  • Lincoln Hospital Medical scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to students who have graduated from a high school in Lincoln County and have been accepted into eligible medical areas of study. Preference is given to applicants who plan to return to rural healthcare, preferably Lincoln County, after they have graduated from their program.
  • National Health Service Corps Scholarship Program
    This scholarship is for students pursuing primary care health professions training. Applicants must work in one of these health disciplines: Physician Dentist, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife or Physician Assistant.
  • Palmer-Wrigglesworth Endowment Fund
    This scholarship provides financial support to a student seeking a degree, diploma or certificate at Western Piedmont Community College.
  • Peterson Family Scholarship
    The Peterson Family Scholarship will be awarded to two current full-time students in the amount of $5,000. It is made possible by a generous donation from the Peterson family. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.
  • Robert and Phyllis Weinberg Memorial Scholarship
    This $500 scholarship will be awarded to one student graduating from **Archbishop Bergan High School** or **Fremont High School** who is pursuing a course of study in a **healthcare field**.
  • Standard Process Scholarship
    The Standard Process Scholarship is awarded to one student enrolled in the Naturopathic Program in the amount of $2,500. This scholarship was made possible by a generous donation from Standard Process. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.
  • The Alexander Eastman Foundation Health Professions Scholarship Program
    The Alexander Eastman Foundation Health Professions Scholarship Program is for students pursuing post-secondary education or training in a health care field. Eligible health fields include, but are not limited to: medicine, dentistry, nursing, medical laboratory, radiology, pharmacology, rehabilitation therapy, nutrition, health care administration, or home health care.
