Public Administration scholarships

  • Bernard T. Deasy Honorary Scholarship in Public Administration
    This scholarship is for new and continuing SF State Major in Public Administration students who intend to enroll in the following Fall and Spring academic school year. Can be enrolled part-time, but plan to enroll for both semesters.
  • BGCF Edith Schwab Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is for a graduate student pursuing a degree and career in public service. This includes, but is not limited to fields of study such as public administration, teaching, public health, or social work.
  • Arkansas
    BKD Accounting Scholarship
    This scholarship is for junior or senior accounting majors with desire of a career in public accounting.  Criteria include academic performance and leadership potential for public accounting. 
  • FPEG Fellowships
    This scholarship is for applicants enrolled in or accepted by a graduate program to obtain an advanced degree in engineering, engineering management, public administration, public works administration or business administration (copy of acceptance letter).
  • Islamic Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship is for an undergraduate (junior/senior) or of graduate standing (includes PhD) by August 2020 and must be a Muslim or active member of the Muslim community.
  • Lt. Mark P. Kakert Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship was established to carry on Mark’s legacy and help individuals who share his same passion and devotion pursue a career in public service. The recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,000 to use towards education costs.

    Matt Fong Asian Americans in Public Finance Scholarship
    This scholarship is for incoming sophomore, junior or senior at a four-year college or university in 2019-20 enrolled in California college or university majoring in Accounting, political science, public policy, business administration or related fields.

    Morey-Vaughn Award
    The Morey-Vaughn award provides up to $4,000 to defray travel, living, and other expenses associated with an internship in Washington, DC.

    This scholarship is for high school seniors planning to pursue a BS degree from an accredited college or university in Fire Sciences or in Public Administration/Public Safety (not including law enforcement, criminal justice, or emergency medical services).

    This scholarship is for Ohio resident degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student attending or accepted at Cleveland State University Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs pursuing a public service career.

    This scholarship is for part-time or full-time students pursuing a graduate degree in the Public and Nonprofit Management program, or students pursuing a graduate certificate in the Public and Nonprofit Management program.

    This scholarship is for graduate students, with preference for doctoral students, studying areas that interested Dr. Kelly, including gender and politics, public policy, public affairs and public administration.
