- 2022 Women of Gases & Welding – District 20 ScholarshipThis scholarship is awarded to a female pursuing a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor degree in welding, gases, or a related field and is eager to start her career in the industry.
- Dale and Marolyn Mortensen Section Named ScholarshipThis scholarship is for welding students in the AWS Idaho/Montana Section pursuing 4-year welding programs.
- Idaho Latino ScholarshipThe Idaho Latino Scholarship Foundation (ILSF), was founded in 2008 to ease the financial burden Idaho Latino students face when striving towards a higher education. Working alongside our generous community members, corporate sponsors, and volunteers, we provide deserving students an opportunity to radically change their lives. Multiple scholarships are available. Qualifications * Be in good standing and making satisfactory progress (as formally defined by the institution) toward the student’s program objective (degree, diploma, or certificate). * Have a minimum unweighted cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.5. * Be a high school student in Idaho and/or * Be attending or planning on attending an institution (university, college, vocational/technical or other) in Idaho for undergraduate studies. * Have demonstrated leadership in school, community and/or other service organizations that promote, enhance or strengthen diversity. * Be an Idaho resident and be of Hispanic/Latino descent. **DACA are eligible.** * Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA for continued scholarship awards and will be asked to provide documentation. * Recipients will be invited and expected to attend a Scholarship Award luncheon or dinner.
- Idaho/Montana Section Scholarships This scholarship is for students in 1, 2, or 4-year welding programs.
- Roy & Leona Nelson Foundation ScholarshipsThis full-time scholarship is open to Big Bend students from Eastern Washington or Northern Idaho.
