  • Black Community Scholarship Fund
    This fund was established by the Black Community Fund Board of Directors to provide scholarship support to African-American students from the Greater Kansas City area seeking educational advancement through a college or university degree or accredited certificate program in areas and fields determined by the Black Community Fund Board of Directors.
  • Booker T. Washington Scholarship
    This $500 scholarship is for African-American students graduating from any **Saline County** high school.
  • Dale I. and Emma Mae Crawford Scholarship
    The Dale I. and Emma Mae Crawford Scholarship Fund was set up by the Franklin County Community Foundation for scholarships for students who are Kansas residents and studying at Baker University.
  • Foley Equipment Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship is established to support mechanically-inclined high school students seeking a technical college or post-secondary degree focused on a career in heavy equipment, diesel, and/or electric power generation.
  • Forever Friends Diana Lain Hughes Scholarship
    The primary purpose of the Forever Friend Diana Lain Hughes Scholarship Fund is to provide annual scholarships to one or more graduating high school seniors or former graduates of the Shawnee Mission School District who demonstrate an interest in a career in teaching, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy or speech-language pathology.
  • Greater Kansas City Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship
    This scholarship is for sorority women who will be collegiate seniors or graduate students at a Kansas or Missouri school and who attended high school in the **Kansas City metro** (counties include: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri, and Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas).
  • Green, James G. & Mavis Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to Incoming freshman at Peru State College who are graduates of Auburn or Johnson-Brock first preference; also consideration of southeast Nebraska and any surrounding areas in Iowa, Kansas and Missouri and planning to major in business administration.
  • Hallifax Scholarship for Mothers
    This scholarship is open to mothers who are currently enrolled in a career-focused degree program at **Johnson County Community College** in the state of Kansas.
  • James and Catherine Lardner Scholarship
    This scholarship is available college sophomores or juniors who are majoring in architecture or engineering. Students must have graduated from a Topeka area high school.
  • Jeffrey and Coleen Flathman College Scholarship Fund
    The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to students graduating from a high school in Kansas with a graduating class of less than 40 students.
  • Kansas City, Missouri Opportunities Scholarship
    “The Port Authority, through development agreements with the operators of certain casino gaming operations, has obtained commitments from those operators to make annual contributions for a period of ten years to fund a scholarship grant program. The result of this agreement is a scholarship fund that will provide scholarships to Kansas City, MO residents who are pursuing educational opportunities at accredited or certified colleges, universities and vocational/technical schools.
  • KCAS Founders’ Scholarship Fund
    The KCAS Founders’ Scholarship Fund was established to honor Dr. William Mason and Dr. Robert Lanman, the founders of KCAS. This scholarship provides current KCAS employees, their children, grandchildren, and eligible dependents the opportunity to continue their education through scholarship assistance.
  • Kilgore Family Pancreatic Cancer Scholarship Fund
    The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide post-secondary scholarships to graduating seniors from high schools in the Greater Kansas City area who have personally been affected by pancreatic cancer and who plan to continue their education at a two-year or four-year college or university or at a technical school.
  • Labconco-Callaway Scholarship
    The purpose of the Labconco-Callaway Scholarship is to offer Labconco employee’s dependent children assistance in expanding educational opportunities at the college level. It was created in recognition of the longstanding leadership of the Callaway family within Labconco Corporation.
  • Mary J. Weber Memorial Scholarship Fund
    The purpose of the Mary J. Weber Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to high school graduates who intend to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or university or trade/technical school. Preference will be given to graduates of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Andale High School in Andale, Kansas. The Fund is established in memory of Mary J. Weber, a 1960 graduate of Andale High School.
  • Megan E. Taylor Memorial Scholarship
    Established by William and Marilyn Taylor in memory of their daughter, Megan E. Taylor, the fund will provide four-year scholarships to females graduating from Shawnee Mission South High School. Students must be in the top one-third of their graduating class, demonstrate financial need and embody some of the ideals, traits and interests of Megan E. Taylor.
  • Mel Brown Memorial Golf Scholarship
    The purpose of the Fund shall be to provide post-secondary scholarships to graduating seniors from Chillicothe High School, in Chillicothe, Missouri, or Gardner Edgerton High School, in Gardner Kansas, who were members of the golf team and who plan to continue their education at a two-year or four-year college or university or at a technical school.
  • Merlin and Bernadine Peterson Scholarship
    The purpose of the Merlin and Bernadine Peterson Scholarship Fund is to provide scholarships to high school seniors that previously attended Santa Fe Trail Middle School in Olathe, KS who would not otherwise be able to afford college.

    The Sean Callahan Memorial Scholarship Fund is intended to honor the memory of Sean Callahan by assisting high school and junior college football players who are going on to play at a higher level.
  • New Theatre Guild Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to undergraduate or graduate students at the **University of Kansas, the University of Central Missouri and the University of Missouri - Kansas City**. Applicants must be pursuing education related to the **theatrical arts industry**.
  • Pastor Otis L. Cobbins, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
    The Pastor Otis L. Cobbins, Sr. Memorial Scholarship honors a young individual(s) who is furthering their education and exemplifies the attributes of Pastor Cobbins, Sr. These attributes include: honest; integrity; hard working; strong character; love of humanity; servant to community and family; trustworthy; and committed.
  • Paul Max Service Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Prosperity Planning Scholarship
    The Prosperty Planning Scholarship fund was established to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors in the Park Hill School District who have demonstrated a strong work ethic both inside and outside the classroom.
  • QTS Student Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Richard “Dick” Emmit Blaisdell Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who are planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Sergeant Thomas D. Rhyne Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to anyone currently employed in law enforcement in the state of Kansas who is pursuing educational courses to further or enhance his or her career in law enforcement. The courses may be a part of a degree program or continuing education courses.
  • Tescott Ambulance Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to graduates from Tescott High School who have enrolled or will enroll at an accredited college or university
  • The Beth Winters Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Virginia Whitsitt Memorial Scholarship
    The Virginia Whitsitt Memorial Scholarship Fund program provides annual scholarships to graduating seniors in honor of Helen Virginia Whitsitt. Scholarship awards are focused on students interested in pursuing a career in teaching and that demonstrate financial need. If qualified applicants are not available, the scholarship may be awarded to teachers who have returned to school for their master’s degree in education.
