  • Adrian Breakfast Lions Club Scholarship
    The members of the Adrian Breakfast Lions Club are proud to sponsor a scholarship to a student with a visual or auditory impairment, who is enrolled in an accredited post-secondary school.
  • Adrian College Scholarship
    The Adrian College Scholarship, in the amount of $1,000 is available to graduating seniors of a Lenawee County School, public or private, that are attending Adrian College as a freshman student.
  • Adrian Morning Rotary Club Scholarship
    Student scholarships represent the LCEF’s single largest area of student support, totaling $6.5 million since the LCEF's inception in 1985. Student scholarships provide Lenawee County students and families with financial support that assists them in pursuing higher education. Scholarship eligibility varies and is generally established by the donor.

    This scholarship will be awarded to a student who resides in the **AWS Central Michigan section**.
  • AWS Fox Valley Section scholarship
    This scholarship is for individuals interested in pursuing a rewarding career in an exciting, fast paced, ever changing environment focused on welding.
  • Benjamin and Cherie Gubin Scholarship
    This scholarship provides funding for graduate education to Kalamazoo County residents.
  • Bhargava Family Scholarship
    This scholarship, established by the Bhargava family, recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate high academic performance as well as involvement in school, community and work activities.
  • Birkenstock Woodlands Foundation Scholarship
    Scholarship awards for college education to residents of Birkenstock Farms, Hidden Ponds, and Pebble Creek Village Estates subdivisions in Howell, Michigan. Application form required.
  • Birmingham Unitarian Church Goldsmith Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to current and former graduates of Pontiac High School (and its predecessors) who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US.
  • Bob Block Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to Kalamazoo County graduating seniors who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to competitive swimming or diving, and their education.
  • Brady & Patrick Gallagher Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to a Loy Norrix High School graduating senior who has demonstrated ability and interest in the area of creative arts (band, orchestra, choral, drama, fine arts or creative writing).
  • Brian Thiele Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship, established by family and friends in memory of Brian Thiele, provides financial assistance to students who exhibit characteristics similar to those for which Brian is so fondly remembered. This includes playing high school soccer, the achievement of personal and academic goals, overcoming obstacles to meet his goals, competitive spirit, leadership and a special caring for his fellow man.
  • Carl & Helen Patzer Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a Northeast Michigan high school graduate who is pursuing a career in the natural sciences (including ornithology or field biology), business, or utility technology. Priority will be given to relatives of Carl and Helen Patzer. The scholarship may be used for tuition or toward a legitimate field project approved by an instructor from the ACC Science Department.
  • Cartwright/Muladore Endowed Business Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to junior or senior majors in the College of Business (preference to Accounting and Finance majors) who are enrolled at Saginaw Valley State University .
  • CentralStar Cooperative Scholarship
    This scholarship helps enrolled students in a four-year college or a one- or two-year technical college or short-course program in an agricultural-related field OR be a high school senior admitted into one of the aforementioned programs.
  • Cheryl Wojtas Memorial Scholarship
    The purpose of the Fund is to provide educational scholarships that benefit students graduating from the Port Huron Area Schools and the Gaylord Community Schools.
  • Chris Kurzweil Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who are children of Intertape Polymer Group employees n pursuing a program of undergraduate education.
  • CIS/Kalamazoo Public Education Foundation Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded annually to Kalamazoo Public Schools graduating seniors planning to enter the field of education.
  • Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior or college freshman, who has been a permanent resident of Kalamazoo County for a minimum of 12 months prior to application or a graduating high school senior who has been enrolled in a high school within Kalamazoo County for a minimum of 12 months prior to application.
  • Covert Township Community Foundation Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to Covert Township residents between the ages of 17 through 25 who are pursuing higher education.
  • Curtis and Dorothy Young Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to Kalamazoo County student athletes who have the desire and the skills necessary to participate in athletics while attending a college/university in pursuit of a post-secondary degree. Preference will be given to **African American** applicants and/or applicants pursuing a degree in **education**.

    This scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who are permanent residents of Van Buren County and who are planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year college/university.
  • David and Barbara Kruse Paw Paw High School Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial support to Paw Paw High School graduating seniors or graduates of Paw Paw High School, who are planning to pursue training in technical fields.

    The David and Priscilla Morris Scholarship was established to provide tuition support for a student attending Western Michigan University
  • Derek Jeter Scholarship
    This scholarship provides scholarship support for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate leadership in their community while promoting abstinence from drugs and alcohol.
  • Dick DePaolis Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is for graduating seniors of North Farmington High School who are scholar-athletes and planning to major in liberal studies, particularly history and English.
  • Dietrich and Betty Roth Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students in the **AWS West Michigan Section** who are pursuing a degree or certificate in a welding or welding-related program.
  • Donald J. DeYoung Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to a student who is a current or former ward of the court in Kent County, Michigan pursuing an undergraduate college or vocational education.
  • Dr. Jack and Charlene Sauer Scholarship
    This scholarship will provide financial assistance to Schoolcraft High School seniors who plan to enroll in a Michigan vocational or technical school or a two- or four-year college or university.
  • Duane Roberts Scholarship
    The Duane Roberts Scholarship was established in memory of Duane Roberts, a Kalamazoo Public Schools graduate, community activist, and KPS Board of Education member, to provide scholarship support to KPS minority students.
  • Earl Haas Hackett Catholic Prep Scholarship
    This fund was established by Earl Haas to recognize graduating high school seniors from Hackett Catholic Prep who are in need of significant financial assistance to attend the college of their choice.
  • Earl Haas Scholarship
    The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance for Kalamazoo County residents or persons who have graduated from a school within Kalamazoo County.
  • Edmond B. Woodruff and Beth Woodruff Shipman Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is for Kalamazoo County students who have demonstrated high academic achievement and participated extensively in school and community activities.
  • Edward Adams Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who have graduated from a Northeast Michigan high school and are interested in studying banking or finance at ACC.
  • Edwin E. Doyle Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to a high school senior at Lowell High School who is planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US.
  • E. Earl Wright Scholarship
    This fund will award a scholarship for Kalamazoo County students enrolled or planning to enroll in a two-year program at a community college or a technology curriculum in a community college, technical, vocational, or trade school.
  • Englehardt Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to a senior attending Lowell High School (no residency limitation) or senior is attending any public, private, charter, or home-based school and resides in the City of Lowell, Township of Lowell, or Township of Vergennes who will be a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited school.
  • Enhancement Ministries Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to men and women residing in Kalamazoo or Calhoun County who have had at least five years of employment beyond high school. Applicants must be seeking education or training for the purpose of making a mid-career transition into a field of community service or seeking to improve his or her skills within current service-related employment (e.g. certification, workshops; or degree programs leading to work in social services nonprofit agencies or faith-based ministries).
  • Enrico and Marie Vespa Scholarship
    The purpose of the Vespa Scholarship Program is to assist the employees and/or immediate custodial dependents of English Gardens Corporation to attend post-secondary educational institutions.
  • Evelyn Prince Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a female graduating high school senior who is a Kalamazoo County resident or attends a Kalamazoo County high school or a high school that participates in the Greater Kalamazoo High School Women's Golf Tournament.
  • EveryPayJoy Best Saving Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Saginaw Valley State University as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Fostering Futures Scholarship
    This scholarship is available on a first-come, first-served basis to students who have been placed by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in the Michigan foster care system on or after their 13th birthday.
  • Fred & Lena Meijer Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to a student who is a Meijer team member or a child (natural, legally adopted, or stepchild) of a Meijer Team Member and has been employed for at least one year by the time of the application deadline. Children of team members must be full-time students to apply, while Meijer team member applicants may be part-time students.
  • Gail and Hilda Oster Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship was established to provide meaningful support to graduating high school seniors or graduates, who are residents of Van Buren County or graduating high school seniors or graduates of high schools within Van Buren County, who are planning to pursue or are pursuing bachelor's degrees at Western Michigan University or the University of Michigan in the fields of education, mathematics or science; or enrolling or enrolled in the Veterinary Technologist or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs at Michigan State University or enrolling or enrolled in the WMU Homer Stryker School of Medicine.
  • Garry Tomaszewski— Alpena Area F.O.P. Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a student from Northeast Michigan who is pursuing a certificate or degree in Criminal justice.
  • George L. Palmer Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors of Chelsea High School who are enrolled or planning t enroll at an accredited college or university and are pursuing a vocational career.
  • Glen C. Smith Jr./KCC Caddie Scholarship
    This scholarship provides assistance to young people in qualified caddie programs at member clubs of the Golf Association of Michigan and the Western Golf Association.
  • GMCA Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to recent high school graduates who planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students.
  • Grand Rapids Combined Theatre Scholarships
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and are majoring in theatre arts.
  • Hagop “Jake” Kuredjian Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to full-time students from Michigan who are pursuing an associate’s degree in Criminal justice.
  • Imelda “Mel” and Ralph Lemar Scholarship
    The purpose of the Imelda “Mel” and Ralph LeMar Scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support to scholar-athletes who graduate of Fowlerville High School.
  • James E. Potvin Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a student from Michigan accepted into the Concrete Technology Program. Preference will be given to applicants from the **Cadillac area**.
  • Jean and Tom Rosenthal Scholarship
    The purpose of the Jean and Tom Rosenthal Scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support to graduates of Pontiac High School who are planning to enroll at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students.
  • Jean Hunse Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial assistance to students from Kalamazoo County who are studying business at Western Michigan University.
  • Jeptha Wade Schureman Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to fatherless children who are residents of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lenawee, Monroe, Livingston, Washtenaw or St. Clair counties and want to pursue majors or careers in nursing, law, dentistry or medicine.

    The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance for Kalamazoo County residents or persons who have graduated from a school within Kalamazoo County to help them reach their goals of increased financial independence through employment.
  • Jim Strehlow Scholarship
    This scholarship will provide financial assistance for a graduating Parchment High School senior who has demonstrated personal growth throughout his or her high school years, and plans to attend Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
  • Joseph P. Pinson Scholarship
    These $500 awards are awarded to a Northeast Michigan resident enrolled on a full- or part-time basis in any degree or certificate program.
  • Kalamazoo Public Library Amanda Green Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students from Kalamazoo County who have earned undergraduate degree or will be earning one within a year of applying.
  • Kalamazoo Science Foundation Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to promising Kalamazoo area high school students who might not otherwise be able to afford an education in science, mathematics or engineering to develop their potential.
  • Kelsey’s Law Distracted Driving Awareness Scholarship
    This scholarship, created in honor of Kelsey Raffaele to inspire change in teens who drive distracted and help prevent car accidents, is open to 11th and 12th grade students attending a public or private Michigan high school, and have a valid Michigan driver’s license.
  • Kreager Family Scholarship
    This scholarship was established in 2001 by the Kreager family to provide financial assistance to college-bound graduating high school seniors that have suffered the loss of a parent or parents through death or abandonment after infancy.
  • Law Student Diversity Scholarship
    This scholarship is for a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited law school within the United States, or entering law school and is a member of an ethnic or racial minority or demonstrates a defined commitment to issues of diversity within their academic career.
  • Leonard, Butcher and Smeltzer Scholarship
    The purpose of this scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support to public school graduates of the Wayne-Westland School District.
  • Love Where You Live: Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship was established for the purpose of investing in the higher education of permanent residents of Kalamazoo County or students graduating from a Kalamazoo County High School.
  • Marcia Weld Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to High School Juniors, Seniors and College Freshmen in Eaton County, Charlotte.
  • Mary Roe Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship was established for graduating Comstock High School seniors pursuing a degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Mary Ruth Robinson Scholarship
    This scholarship fund was established to provide financial assistance for higher education to Kalamazoo Central students who have demonstrated a genuine excitement about, and enthusiasm for, education.
  • Matthew VanderSalm Memorial Scholarship
    This award is intended to recognize an outstanding senior defenseman in the South Central High School Hockey League who displays the highest degree of sportsmanship, skill, and team play during his high school career.
  • MCWT Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to talented female students to continue their higher education and ultimately help Michigan become the No. 1 state for girls and women in technology.
  • Melissa Wroblewski Scholarship
    This award is presented annually to a graduating senior from Kalamazoo Central or Loy Norrix High School who desires to pursue higher education with a goal of a career in the visual arts.
  • Miguel Cabrera Family Scholarship
    The purpose of the Miguel Cabrera Family Scholarship Fund is to provide educational scholarships that benefit students graduating from high schools in Michigan, with a preference for students from Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston and St. Clair counties, or Florida, with a preference for students from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
  • Mildred McConkey Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial support to a senior from Kalamazoo Central or Loy Norrix High School and is intended to recognize noteworthy improvement during the student's three to four years of high school course work in English composition.
  • Nancy C. Niles Donovan Scholarship
    The Nancy C. Niles Donovan Scholarship was established in 2003 by Nancy Niles Donovan. Because of Donovan's love of animals, she wished to assist students who plan a career in the field of veterinary medicine.
  • Nancy Lange and Michael Kaufman Scholarship
    This scholarship of $2,000 ($1,000 each for band and choir) is awarded to graduating seniors who exemplify the qualities of Mrs. Lange and Mr. Kaufman: Dedication, Excellence, Loyalty, and Leadership.
  • Ordoñez Family Scholarship Fund
    The purpose of the Ordoñez Family Scholarship Fund is to assist students who are graduates of any Detroit Public School, or tax- exempt charter or private high school located in southwest Detroit.
  • Otis Smith Scholarship
    This scholarship is for single mothers who are residents of Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties and want to attend Wayne State University, the University of Michigan or the Columbus College of Law at Catholic University of America.
  • Pauline Langkamp Memorial Scholarship
    This award is given to assist a NWCA member’s child at a later age without the requirement of an ID card. This child can be natural, legally adopted or legal stepchild of a member in of NWCA in good standing for a minimum of one year.
  • Peter and Inez Schonveld Scholarship
    This scholarship was established through a bequest from the estate of Inez Schonveld to provide scholarship assistance for post-secondary education to graduating high school seniors and graduates of the Kalamazoo Public School District.
  • Phyllis A. Nuyen Scholarship
    This scholarship fund was established to provide scholarships for higher education to students planning to pursue a degree in nursing or occupational therapy at Western Michigan University.
  • Plante Moran Sons and Daughters Scholarship
    This scholarship is for children of Plante Moran staff who are under 25 and pursuing undergraduate studies at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students.
  • Ray H. Herner Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a full- or part-time student from Northeast Michigan who is enrolled in ACC’s pre-engineering program and plans to transfer into an engineering program at a four-year university.
  • Red Cedar Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to **Michigan State University** students who are dependents or grandchildren of **MSU alumni** and have demonstrated good academic and leadership accomplishments. Applicants must be **incoming domestic out-of-state freshmen**. Recipients will be awarded $1,250 annually for eight semesters.
  • Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund
    This scholarship is open to students from Southeast Michigan who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited four year not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Robert and James Bollens Scholarship
    This scholarship is for **engineering** students in their sophomore, junior or senior year, with financial need, and participation in **Girl Scouting**.
  • Robert L. Daniels Scholarship
    This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors of Chelsea High School who intend to pursue a degree in building or building technology.
  • Rolland J. and Dorothea R. Face Family Christian Ministry Service College Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing a career as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ or other full time ministry and show proof of enrollment to the following Christian colleges: Cornerstone University, Springfield Bible Baptist College, Moody Bible Institute, Northland Baptist College, Pensacola Christian College and/or any additional Christian colleges approved by the committee.
  • RoMan Manufacturing – West Michigan Section Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students in the **AWS West Michigan Section** who are pursuing a degree or certificate in a welding or welding-related program.
  • Ronald C. Cavanaugh Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who are Kalamazoo County residents, have graduated from a high school within Kalamazoo County and are college students enrolled in the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University.
  • Ronald Reeves Job Readiness Training Grant
    The Lenawee County Education Foundation (LCEF) Ronald Reeves Job Readiness Grant is available to Lenawee County graduates or residents seeking training for a job or bettering their current job status or obtaining a General Education Degree (GED).
  • Ronald W. Winter Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a student accepted into ACC’s pre-engineering program. Applicants must be a graduating high school senior from a northeast Michigan school.
  • Roy G. Walters Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial support for higher education to students who have participated in athletics as well as school and community activities, and who demonstrate financial need.
  • Schwenk Scholarship
    This scholarship was established provide financial assistance to people pursuing a degree in elementary education for the purpose of promoting quality preparation in a field that has a major impact on our youth.
  • SET Educational Fund Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to undergraduate students in Michigan who are attending or planning to attend Michigan colleges. Selection is based on community minded individuals that have excelled scholastically while volunteering their time to help others.
  • S. Rudolph Light Medical Education Scholarship
    The S. Rudolph Light Medical Education Scholarship provides financial assistance to medical students, dental students and master's of nursing students.
  • The Barnes & Noble Book Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to second-year full- or part-time students who are enrolled at Saginaw Valley State University and are pursuing a degree course.
  • The Brittain Michigan State University Scholarship
    This scholarship is for graduates of a high school in **Lenawee County, Michigan** who will enter **MSU** fall semester as an incoming freshmen/transfer students, or are currently enrolled at MSU.
  • The Lloyd F. Hutt Scholarship
    Established in 1990, this scholarship program honors the legacy of Lloyd F. Hutt – teacher and founder of LMCU.

    This scholarship is open to students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Pacific Islander) who are accepted to or presently attending an accredited law school within the US with a permanent residence in Michigan.

    This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student pursuing a degree in education. Applicants must be resident of the College's service area.

    This scholarship will be awarded to graduating seniors from Barry, Branch, Calhoun and Eaton Counties who will be attending a trade school, community college and/or a four-year institution.

    The purpose of the Virgil K. Lobring Scholarship is to provide educational scholarship support to graduates of Western International High School who intends to enroll at an accredited college or university.
  • Wade and Clio Van Valkenburg Scholarship
    This Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 through the Wade Van Valkenburg Trust to provide educational scholarships for students in Kalamazoo County.
  • Warner Norcross Judd Diversity Law School Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students of color (African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Pacific Islander) accepted to or presently attending an accredited law school within the US with a permanent residence in Michigan.
  • Weber Specialties Company Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who reside or have graduated from high schools in Kalamazoo County and are pursuing higher education in the fields of **Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Graphics and Design Technology, or Integrated Supply Management**.

    This merit scholarship is presented annually to one high school senior who will attend Albion College.
  • William T. Nuyen Scholarship
    This scholarship fund was established to provide scholarships for higher education to students planning to pursue a degree in aviation or engineering at Western Michigan University.
  • Winnifred Stinson Basile Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are studying business at private accredited educational institutions located in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
  • Women's Education Coalition Grant
    The purpose of this grant is to provide assistance to women who are currently underemployed or unemployed and are in need of education to become financially self-sufficient.
