  • ACCESS Scholarship Program
    This scholarship program ensures 50 students from low-income families in North Carolina can attend Appalachian debt-free.
  • Adam Brent Jackson Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to Midway High School graduates who are pursuing higher education at NC institutions of higher learning.
  • Adams Oldcastle Werner-McQueen Architecture Scholarship Endowment
    This scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students studying architecture in the College of Design at NC State University. Preference shall be given to students who are residents of North Carolina.
  • AIA NC Eastern Section Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to NCSU students pursuing a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture (BEDA) or a Bachelor of Architecture (Barch), in their first, second, third or fourth, or fifth year.
  • A. J. Haynes Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to rising juniors or seniors in any CALS program at NC State University.
  • ALAS Western NC College Scholarship
    This scholarship is for undocumented/DACAmented students who are studying at any college or university in Western North Carolina or who have graduated from a high school in Western North Carolina.
  • Albert and Eloise Midyette Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship shall be awarded to undergraduate students attending **Limestone College** in Gaffney, South Carolina, pursuing degrees in the fields of **religious and ministry studies, nursing and other medical academic fields**.
  • A. M. Fountain Award
    This scholarship will be awarded to rising juniors of NC State University with preference given to students who are enrolled in the LWR curriculum and who are residents of North Carolina.
  • Angela C. Caraway and Family Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students at NC State who are participants in TRIO Programs.
  • Angel Family Foundation Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to freshman students pursuing an undergraduate degree in the College of Engineering at NC State University.
  • Ann C. and Charles F. Goodno Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students enrolled in the College of Sciences at NC State University.
  • Ann Price Silva Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to NCSU undergraduates from the Western/Appalachian Mountains region of NC who are either US citizens or permanent residents. Preference will be given to students from Transylvania County, NC and are majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) program.
  • Anthony Maltese Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who are enrolled in the College of Textiles at NC State University. Preference will be given to students graduating from a NC high school.
  • A. Tab Williams, Jr. Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to students enrolled in any 4 year CALS program at NC State University.
  • Barbara Moss Inman MB-F Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to students who are North Carolina residents and who are studying in the field of Companion Animal Medicine, particularly dogs.
  • Barton and Calder Endowment Industry Forestry Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to NCSU students with interest in industrial forestry. First consideration will be given to students from working class families residing in **NC (Haywood, Buncombe, Swain, Jackson, Macon, Cherokee, Henderson, Transylvania, Avery, Watauga, Wake), Ga (Chatham, Effingham, Ware, Clinch), SC, NJ (Essex, Passaic)**.
  • Benjamin Battle Moore Scholarship
    This scholarship provides support for undergraduate students enrolled in the **Poole College of Management**. First preference is given to first- or second-year students who graduated from high schools in **Nash County or Edgecombe County**. Second preference is given to first- or second-year students who graduated from high schools in any Eastern North Carolina county.
  • Elizabeth Hooper Jackson, M.D. Endowed Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship assists **Allied Health** curriculum students, **Substance Abuse Technology** students, and students majoring in **Biology or Chemistry** (college-transfer) in meeting expenses incurred while pursuing their academic goals at WPCC.
  • Robert S. & Autumn Henson Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship provides financial support to a Burke County Public School graduate enrolled at Western Piedmont Community College.
