  • 5 Strong Houston Scholarship Program
    5 Strong partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to provide promising student leaders with full-tuition scholarships and ongoing mentorship and support from matriculation to graduation.  To be eligible for the 5 Strong program, all applicants must: * Reside in the Houston metropolitan area * Be a current-year graduating high school senior * Demonstrate the potential to be a leader in the classroom and on campus * Have earned a GPA of at least 3.0 * Have a minimum ACT score of 19 or a combined SAT score of 990 * Commit to becoming a member of 5 Strong * Be available to attend all mandatory bimonthly College Ready Prep Sessions (Remotely for now) * And be interested in attending one of our HBCU Partner Schools (Benedict College, Bennett College, Langston University, and Lincoln University)
  • AAUW - Fort Worth Branch Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion in mathematics, nursing, science intensive courses, or any allied health field of study.

  • Abigail Sophie Cross Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree in music or visual arts at a four-year institution following studies at TCC.
  • Abilene Christian University Venturing and Scouting Leadership Scholarship
    This $1,000 scholarship is for students who have obtained any of the following achievements through the Boy Scouts of America or Girl Scouts USA: **Eagle Scout, Venturing, Silver, Sea Scouting Quartermaster, Gold Award**, or the **American Heritage Girls Stars and Stripes**.

    This program awards students who are attending a technical college or attending university as an entering freshman, undergraduate, or graduate student with financial needs such as tuition, fees, room and board, and other additional costs associated with adaptive technology.

  • Anthony & Eric Vita Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to an **Allen High School** student who plans to pursue a career in the **medical field**.
  • AQHA Journalism or Communications Scholarship
    Ideal candidates for this scholarship must have been members of AQHA or AQHYA for at least one year and are pursuing a college degree in journalism or communications. Recipient must pursue a career in news, editorial or print journalism, photojournalism or a related field.
  • Arlington Council of PTAs Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students whose parents or guardians are members of the local PTA / PTSA within the Arlington Independent School District boundaries.
  • Arlington Education for Excellence in Education STEM Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to an African-American female scholar who graduated from a high school in Tarrant County or Grand Prairie, Texas and is now in her junior year of college and majors in an area of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
  • ASME Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington and are pursuing a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
  • Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students from Central Texas community who are planning to attend a Texas college, university or accredited technical or trade school as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.

  • Carmen Trujillo Nunez Pre-Med Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are pre-med majors in the College of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Carr P. Collins Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Baylor University as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Charles Butt Scholarship
    The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers is available to prospective teachers who are currently in, or plan to enter, an eligible teacher preparation program at a Raising Texas Teachers partner university.
  • Charlie and Mollie Daniels Family Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is for an undergraduate (junior year or higher) engineering student or graduate engineering student of **UTA**. Applicants must be active members of **National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)**. Priority will be given to engineering students with demonstrated financial need.

    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion.
  • Colleyville Lions Club Scholarship
    This scholarship was established by the Colleyville Lions Club to assist individuals who have graduated from or currently reside in the Birdville, Grapevine Colleyville, HEB, or Keller Independent School Districts or who are graduates of the Nolan Catholic, Faith Christian, or Covenant High Schools.

    CEF grants Student Scholarships to Conroe ISD graduating seniors who seek careers in teaching kindergarten through high school. CEF also grants Continuing Education Scholarships to degreed Conroe ISD employees who seek an advanced degree.

    This scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled at Austin Community College as full time students and reside within the ACC taxing district. Preference is given to first time college students.

  • Department of Texas American Legion Oratorical Contest
    This scholarship award is provided to students under the age of 20 years who compete at the state level.Texas students who win at state level qualify for the national American Legion Oratorical Contest. Applicants can locate their nearest American Legion Post at www.legion.org/posts.

  • Dr. Erik France Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is established in loving memory of Erik D. France by his family to honor his affinity for Tarrant County College and its students. Dr. France served as the Assistant Librarian of the Jenkins Garrett Library on TCC’s South Campus for 8 years and was beloved by his colleagues.

    The Tarrant County College Foundation accepts and manages gifts from individuals, companies, trusts and foundations for the benefit of Tarrant County College. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors, committed to addressing the critical needs of the College District by raising and managing the proper resources to ensure that tomorrow happens here for thousands of Tarrant County residents every year.

    This scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled at Austin Community College as full time students and are pursuing a degree in Child Development.

  • Dr. June Jacoby Memorial Scholarship
    Dr. June Jacoby worked for HEB-ISD for 46 years as a teacher, counselor, principal of Central Junior High and principal of KEYS High School. Dr. Jacoby was a very passionate educator with a special place in her heart for at-risk students who faced many personal and educational challenges. Dr. Jacoby helped design KEYS High School in 1987 with at-risk students in mind. This scholarship was established by Dr. Jacoby’s family to help KEYS High School graduates continue their education at Tarrant County College.
  • Dr. Larry Darlage Scholarship
    This scholarship is established in honor of the retirement of Dr. Larry Darlage as President of TCC’ss Northeast Campus after 18 years of service. Having spent over 41 years in higher education, Dr. Darlage leaves an indelible mark on the NE Campus, on thousands of students and all those with whom he worked. This scholarship is established with funding from the Grapevine Rotary Club; the Metroport Rotary Club, of which Dr. Darlage was a member; colleagues and friends.

  • Dr. Michael Saenz Scholarship
    Dr. Michael Saenz was the first President of the Tarrant County College Northwest Campus. Dr. Saenz served Tarrant County College from 1975 -2006. This endowed scholarship was created by friends and family of Dr. Michael Saenz to honor his many years of service to TCC upon his retirement.

    This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington and are pursuing a degree in Biology who have financial need.

  • Earl Maxwell Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled at Austin Community College as full time students and are pursuing a degree in the business field through Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, Management, or Marketing.
  • Edwina Carrington Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to students who are enrolled at Austin Community College as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Emerald Circle Gold scholarship Award
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • Eric S. Waterman Scholarship
    This scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who is a child, stepchild, adopted child, or court-appointed custodial child of a member of the International Association who is an active member with five or more years of continuous service at the time of their child’s application unless the member is deceased and was in good standing at the time of death. Grandchildren are not eligible to apply, except in the case of court-appointed custodial grandparents.

  • Evelyn Moren Art Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue an Associate of Arts in Visual Arts (AAVA) Degree.
  • Fifth Year Accounting Student Scholarship Program
    The purpose of the Fifth-Year Accounting Student Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to students intending to take the CPA examination as Texas applicants and ultimately to serve the residents of this state. Applicants must be enrolled at a participating college or university in Texas, including the four community colleges (**Austin Community College, Houston Community College, Lone Star College and Mountain View College**) that offer a comprehensive accounting, business, and ethics program that meets the education requirements of the Board.

  • Gary L. Davis Honorary Scholarship
    This scholarship was established to offer financial assistance to Alvin ISD seniors who are current members in good standing of Chocolate Bayou Credit Union and are planning to enroll in college.
  • Gayle Francis Dare to Dream Network Technology Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue a Certificate of Completion in Information Technology Support, Cybersecurity Specialist, Ethical Hacking or Convergence Technology – Information Assurance.

    This scholarship is for graduating seniors who are members of the **Girl Scouts of Central Texas**
  • Gloria Mills Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue studies in mathematics, natural science (biology), or physical science (physics, chemistry, or geology), exclusive of Nursing majors.
  • Gordon H. and Lynn Wilson Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue an Associate of Arts Degree in Teaching OR an Associate of Arts Degree.
  • Greater Arlington Chamber Innovation Scholarship
    Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating Arlington ISD students who are currently enrolled in a STEM-related career pathway within one of the six traditional high schools or the Arlington Collegiate High School at TCC Southeast.
  • Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Scholarship
    Seven $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to one graduating senior from each of the six traditional high schools and the Arlington Collegiate High School at TCC Southeast.
  • Haraldson Foundation Scholarship
    This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior, who has filed an application to attend The **University of Texas**. Students currently enrolled in University of Texas undergraduate or graduate programs are also eligible.
  • Helen Baker Horticulture Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at Tarrant County College as full time students and intend to pursue an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Horticulture OR pursue a Certificate of Completion in Horticulture.
  • Henry P. Kologe Memorial Scholarship
    This endowed scholarship was created in loving memory of Henry P. Kologe by his wife of 63 years, Pranie Kologe. The first in his family to graduate from high school, Mr. Kologe managed to earn a college degree during the depression by attending night school while working days to help support his family. He worked for Sammons, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Revlon and finally for Alcon Laboratories in Fort Worth where he facilitated its merger with Nestle’s. Extremely well-read, he was keenly interested in a myriad of subjects, particularly world history. Mr. Kologe was profoundly curious his entire life and highly valued education.

    This scholarship is for Hilcorp employees or their dependents to pursue a college education in the **Math** or **Science** fields.
  • Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students from Texas who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution as full time students and have demonstrated good leadership skills and academic achievement.
  • HSU Endowed Scholarships for Ministerial Students
    This scholarship is for students enrolled full-time as **Hardin-Simmons University** undergraduate students majoring in Logsdon’s degree program. Applicants must exhibit a personal call to vocational ministry.
  • Ivan Garza Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to Fairview Junior High students who are planning to enroll or are enrolled at an accredited, two or four year, not-for-profit institution within the US as full time students. Preference will be given to a student or former student in the AVID Program.
  • Jack Fitzer Endowed Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled at the University of Texas at Arlington and are pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Jacob Theis Memorial Scholarship
    This scholarship is open to all students but preference will be given to a student in Visual Arts. It will be awarded to a student attending a College, University or Technical School.
